REACH:<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Microplastics Reporting Updated Guidance<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A new guidance<\/strong> from ECHA has been published regarding the reporting obligation on microplastics<\/strong> as per the restrictions of the REACH regulation.<\/p>\n

Companies required to report in 2026 must submit their data on annual microplastics releases by May 31st<\/sup> 2026<\/strong>, covering estimated emissions for the year 2025. Reports must be prepared in IUCLID<\/strong> and submitted via REACH-IT<\/strong>.
\nThe updated guidance is based on the new functionalities<\/strong> available in the recent version of IUCLID<\/strong>, including improved dossier update capabilities<\/strong> and a revised format for reporting emissions<\/strong>. ECHA has also announced that supporting materials, such as video tutorials, will be updated accordingly to assist companies with compliance.<\/p>\n
